Four times at the Fieldhouse


Saturday, Feb. 11. 2017 senior Alec White got his ticket to the State Finals for the fourth time in his New Palestine High School wrestling career. After four matches, White’s record is 35-1.

“I’m definitely excited,” White said. “It’s my last tournament competing for New Pal, so I’m going to go out there and have some fun.”

Friday, Feb. 17 White will be competing in the opening round of the State Finals at Bankers Life Fieldhouse. He will be one of the 16 men left standing.

“I’m ready for Friday,” White said.

Junior Landon Burton, wrestler for New Palestine High School, wrestled at semistate opposing Cathedral’s Andy Guhl. Guhl beat Burton in a 7-6 decision. Burton finishes his year at 30-5 after three years of qualifying for semistate. Photos below.
