The story centers around a young girl named Cassie, short for Cassiopeia, and her struggle for survival in an apocalyptic world. In this novel, the ‘waves’ are defined as each aspect of the oncoming apocalypse: the power in the entire world going out, a disease killing most of the population, and the fifth wave: the aliens that are invading the earth coming and walking amongst the humans. While this could have been a very fun and interesting concept to work with, the author ruins it with awful characters and a terrible ending. It’s obvious that Miller did a lot of research on multiverses before writing the book, as she included a lot of good, sound explanations for why her main character was in the multiverse. However, that doesn’t…

If you enjoyed the Rocky movies, you would love Creed, especially because Rocky is in it. It scored an 8.1/10 on IMDb, a 93% on Rotten Tomatoes and an 82% on Metacritic. Personally, I would rate this movie a 9.5/10. Definitely a great watch for me. Creed is the emotionally appealing story of the son of legendary…
